Alsatian-born chef Gabriel Kreuther runs the kitchen at the base of the Grace Building, on the edge of Bryant Park, drawing on classic French technique from a decade spent cooking across Europe before he came to New York. The Michelin-starred restaurant offers three tasting formats: three courses, four, or a longer chef's selection that runs through its signature dishes. A large bar up front draws an after-work crowd before the cream-banquette dining room fills for dinner, which starts at 4:45pm Monday through Saturday.
