Rich Buceta sold off his collection of vintage guitars to help start this Astoria brewery in 2012, the first production brewery to open in Queens since Prohibition. The name is a luthier's term for a guitar body with a single cutaway, and the taproom keeps the music theme going with vinyl records spinning alongside the pinball machines. A rotating cast of pop-up kitchens covers food most weeks, served out on the taproom's outdoor patio. By 2017 the Astoria location was brewing at full capacity, which pushed the company to buy a much larger plant upstate in Clifton Park the following year.
