Wild East Brewing Co.

Opened in Gowanus in the spring of 2020, the taproom blends old-world European brewing methods with American styles: farmhouse and mixed-fermentation ales alongside hazy IPAs, pilsners and barrel-aged sours. A U-shaped bar at the center pours twenty lines plus wine, cider and canned cocktails, with booths in back for anyone who brought a board game. There's no kitchen, so food popups run most Friday through Sunday, and outside food and dogs are both welcome any time.
