On a stretch of 30th Avenue in Astoria, Andrew Bellucci's turns out New York-style pies from long-fermented dough finished with a crackling bottom crust, best known for a hand-shucked clam pizza that has to be ordered 48 hours ahead. The tomato sauce gets its edge from black pepper, and a silky vodka sauce anchors the Vodka-Roni pie among the daily specials. Slices come out Thursday through Sunday only, and a line can form fast whenever the shop posts that day's slice on Instagram. The room itself stays small, with counter service built around getting a pie in and out quickly.
