A two-level space on the corner of MacDougal and King keeps Roscioli's rules as strict as the original Rome location — no mushrooms in the carbonara, no vegan swaps. Upstairs functions as an alimentari selling the same Italian pantry goods as the deli in Campo de' Fiori, with a weekend lunch service; downstairs, reached by a steep metal staircase, is a dim, cave-like room built for a longer dinner. The menu holds to Roman staples: carbonara, amatriciana, cacio e pepe, supplì, plus a burrata and a tiramisu that leans heavy on whipped cream.
