Jean-Georges Vongerichten opened this Latin-inspired follow-up to ABC Kitchen inside ABC Carpet & Home on 19th Street. The kitchen turns out small plates built for sharing: patatas bravas, blistered shishitos with cotija, and tacos filled with crispy fish or achiote-roasted cauliflower. A sweet pea guacamole with warm tortillas and a market crudité with peanut salsa round out the vegetable side of the menu. The pork and fish tacos are also sold in two- or three-piece portions built for the table.
