Shane, who used to run Shaffer City before opening this East Village spot, keeps the kitchen without a single freezer, so the short seafood menu changes with what the market has that day. Oysters make up the backbone of it, usually a dozen-plus varieties split between the East and West coasts at about two dollars apiece. Beer-steamed mussels, scallops, and a clam fettuccine round out a menu where nothing runs past twenty dollars. The room seats fewer than twenty people, mostly around the bar, and daily happy hour runs from 5 to 7.
