Overlooking Newport Harbor along West Coast Highway, Rusty Pelican has served pan- and oven-roasted seafood alongside three cuts of steak since 1972. Poached lobster tails and macadamia-and-plantain-crusted mahi mahi anchor the menu, finished with a flourless dark chocolate cake for dessert. An upstairs bar looks out over the marina and its boats.
