Spoke Cafe

What began in 2015 as a bike repair stand along the LA River path in Frogtown grew into a full outdoor cafe, and the shop still rents and fixes bicycles alongside the kitchen. Riders and neighbors sit on a patio that looks out on the river and the mountains beyond it, working through farro bowls, avocado toast, and a veggie burger built on a housemade mushroom-and-beet patty. Bike shop and kitchen keep separate hours, both closed Tuesdays, opening onto the same stretch of patio.
