Santa Monica Farmers’ Market

The Wednesday morning market on Arizona Avenue between 2nd and 4th streets has run since 1981, drawing enough chefs shopping alongside home cooks that regulars call it the city's Chef's Market. Both run rain or shine, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., and the sidewalks occasionally carry live jazz or a folkloric dance performance between the tomato stands.
