Dave's on Broadway

A speakeasy from 1932 that opened legally the day after Prohibition ended in December 1933, and still the oldest bar in Glendale; regulars repeat a story about a tunnel running under Broadway to the ballroom of the old Hotel Glendale. The pool table is free to play on Sundays, and karaoke runs Thursday through Saturday from 9 until last call. Hot dogs cost five dollars, popcorn turns up some nights, and the room stays dark.
