Brian Ly opened this Convoy Street shop with his wife, Tiffany Tran, and her father in 2013, back when the strip held only a handful of businesses. The signature order is the puffle, a made-to-order waffle pressed into a circular, bubble-like pattern instead of squares and piled with toppings from mochi to fresh fruit. Milk teas, matcha and taro versions among them, run alongside Vietnamese coffee, and the recipes lean toward flavors adjusted for an American palate without losing the customers who grew up with the originals. The plaza around it includes Jasmine Seafood and Dumpling Inn.
