Audrey Hermes and Jon Parker built their reputation on Food Network's Cupcake Wars, taking the Season 9 title before opening this Little Italy bakery at the Piazza della Famiglia, a cobblestone plaza built around a tiled fountain. The kitchen turns out scratch pastries and light fare through the morning and early afternoon, including a Morning Bun made from croissant dough rolled in cinnamon sugar. Coffee runs alongside wine and beer, and the daily happy hour narrows to a two-hour window in the early afternoon. Gluten-free and vegan versions cover most of the case.
