Coronado residents Lara and Doug Hamm opened the restaurant in August 2026 after four years of rebuilding a space that had cycled through Boardwalk Beach Club, Vigilucci's, Maretalia, and a Marie Callender's dating to the 1980s. The 6,500-square-foot dining room keeps a preserved hundred-year-old wood beam ceiling and a stained willow finish alongside velvet booths and gold fish-shaped cabinet knobs, with seating for 245 split between the indoor room and an outdoor patio with fireplaces. The Hamms drew the seafood-forward, Greek- and Italian-leaning menu from travels through the Amalfi Coast, the Greek Isles, and the French Riviera, where they were married in Capri, and dishes run to a seafood tower, grilled branzino, and handmade linguine with clams.
