The country's largest aquatic park, Mission Bay covers more than 4,000 acres of shoreline and channels. Rental kayaks, paddleboards and sailboats launch from Santa Clara Point's aquatic center, and close to 14 miles of paved paths carry bikers and joggers around the water's edge. Crown Point draws volleyball games, Ski Beach hosts family cookouts and bonfires, and Fiesta Island keeps a stretch of off-leash beach for dogs.
