John Resnick and chef Eric Bost, coming off Michelin recognition at Jeune et Jolie and Campfire, built this all-day restaurant inside a former Morey bodyboard factory in Carlsbad Village. The nearly 10,000-square-foot space keeps its 30-foot ceilings and huge windows, adding custom terracotta tile, a sprawling patio and an open kitchen with a wood-fired pizza oven and rotisserie. It runs walk-in only, with no reservations taken, from breakfast through dinner. Bost folds Mediterranean, southern French and Middle Eastern influences into a rustic coastal menu of housemade pasta, wood-fired pizza and rotisserie meats.
