Ocho Mexican Food

At Fourth and Fir in Bankers Hill, steps from Balboa Park and next to a cluster of medical offices, Ocho runs a walk-up window and sidewalk bartops rather than table service. Owners Alberto and Maria Ochoa built the menu around handheld breakfast burritos, chilaquiles, and Mexican coffee drinks like café de olla and a Mexican mocha, plus tacos, quesadillas and mini versions (teeny tortas and baby burritos) for smaller appetites. Roasted street corn and a housemade flan round out the counter.
