A 1920s building in Normal Heights, with 14-foot exposed wood ceilings, houses Maya Moon Collective, its interior arranged by designer Steffi Reyes-Thomas around the body's chakras, moving from a crown point near the Adams Avenue entrance back to a root chakra on the patio. Founder Kathryn Rogers built the menu around ceremonial cacao, sold pure or blended with adaptogens, alongside coffee, herbal lattes, and gluten-free pastries and cakes, plus savory sandwiches and frittatas. Crystals and plants are also for sale, alongside bi-monthly art installations and evening community events.
