Nomad Donuts

A former bookstore on University Avenue, Lady of the Lake, became North Park's Nomad Donuts in 2017, an 'evolved version' of the original shop that had opened three years earlier in Normal Heights. The daily-changing menu of made-from-scratch doughnuts runs past maple and chocolate into charred blueberry cream cheese, ube taro coconut, and pear jam chai tea, alongside wood-fired Montreal-style bagels and sandwiches. Regulars order online ahead, since the rotating batch often sells out before the day is through.
