Dave and Megan Heine have run this Bird Rock restaurant since it opened in 2005, building a menu of progressive American food that Gayot singles out for duck confit tacos, ahi tartare with avocado and jicama, and a sea bass finished with truffle avocado relish. A full bar and live local music fill the casual dining room most nights, and brunch draws a crowd on weekends.
