Waves reach the floor-to-ceiling windows of this La Jolla Shores restaurant during high tide, a moment the kitchen builds special dinners around a few times a year. Reservations run through OpenTable, and the kitchen closes Mondays and Tuesdays. A seasonal, seafood-driven menu comes out of a dining room that has occupied this stretch of coastline since 1941, with lobster bisque and Pacific seabass anchoring the current lineup. Chef Mike Minor sources the catch that's made this room one of OpenTable's 100 most scenic restaurants in the country.
