The Prado at Balboa Park

The House of Hospitality building in Balboa Park, built for the 1915 Panama-California Exposition with Spanish and Moorish design details, holds this restaurant's dining rooms and a terrace over the Casa del Rey Moro Garden. Run by the Cohn Restaurant Group, the kitchen serves paella, beef short ribs braised in red wine, and hamachi fish tacos with pineapple salsa and avocado purée alongside a trio of grilled skewers. Gayot named it to its list of San Diego's most romantic restaurants.
