Since 1998, Sbicca has run a rooftop deck one block from the beach in Del Mar, with a second-floor dining room open to the sky for sunset views over the village. The kitchen serves mussels in a saffron Dijon broth, Korean beef lettuce wraps, and seared diver scallops with butternut squash risotto, while half-priced bottles run Tuesdays and Thursdays with no corkage fee on Sundays. Happy hour fills the front patio on weeknights, and the rooftop dining room draws a dinner crowd after dark.
