This Oceanside strip-mall spot opened in 2024 from chefs Nic Webber and Jacob Jordan, both trained in fine dining, applying Chinese technique to Southern California produce - soy-braised dongpo pork belly, shrimp and scallop dumplings in doubanjiang sauce, a duck course served five ways. Tall upholstered red booths seat two at a table or fit a bigger group, and the kitchen runs a nine-to-twelve course tasting alongside a family-style version for parties of five or more. Hours run Thursday through Sunday evenings, and allergies are best flagged in a note on the reservation.
