Glass Box

Inside the Sky Deck at Del Mar Highlands Town Center, Glass Box occupies an all-glass room designed by Arch 5 Design. Chef-owner Ethan Yang, who learned the trade in his family's restaurant kitchen and also runs Zen Modern Asian Bistro, built a menu of sushi and Asian coastal dishes: poke nachos, sauteed shishito peppers, noodle soups and rolls like the Samurai, made with spicy tuna and shrimp tempura. Multi-course omakase tastings run alongside a la carte nigiri, sashimi and Wagyu options, plus a full bar of cocktails, sake and beer.
