The Coronado Playhouse

Overlooking Glorietta Bay at the Coronado Community Center, the Coronado Playhouse stages musicals and plays in a 100-seat cabaret theater, the longest continuously running community theatre in San Diego County since 1946. The company reached this stage after starting in the Coronado High School auditorium and passing through a Quonset hut and old Navy barracks. Season ticket holders can reserve tables a year ahead, and the room keeps a full bar.
