On Orange Avenue in Coronado, MooTime Creamery has scooped handcrafted ice cream since 1998, churning small batches with extra butterfat for a denser, gelato-like texture. The 1950s-styled shop keeps an Elvis statue and oversized cow figures inside, rotating a flavor of the month alongside standards like Islander Crunch, a toasted coconut and macadamia mix. Waffle cones are hand-rolled on site, and scoops range from a single kiddie size up to a six-scoop flight.
