On the ground floor of North Park's Louisiana building, owner Pete Cich built Louisiana Purchase around chef Quinnton Austin, who spent two years as executive chef at Cinclare in Louisiana and eight months at New Orleans' Antoine's. The kitchen serves Creole dishes like an alligator cheesecake and fire-charred oysters, and the courtyard patio holds a fire pit and a tree that rises through the middle of the trellis. Walk-ins are seated at the bar, while table reservations go through OpenTable.
