Inside a converted 1906 Mexican Presbyterian church at 13th and J in East Village, Lost Abbey runs a tasting room called The Church, with stained glass by local artist Paul Bloomquist, pew-style benches, and an altar built into the bar. Thirty-two taps pour Lost Abbey's beers alongside sister brands Port Brewing, The Hop Concept, and Tiny Bubbles, and the 3,000-square-foot beer garden out back sits close enough to Petco Park to draw a game-day crowd. A kitchen serving tacos and rotating snacks opened about a month after the tasting room did in 2022.
