The Spatafore family opened this Memphis-style barbecue counter at the Coronado Ferry Landing in November 2008, its fourth restaurant concept. Brisket, ribs and pork smoke low and slow for seven to eight hours, while the chicken takes two to three, and the counter pours from more than 100 beers. Luis Madrid took over as owner in 2020 and added jackfruit as a vegetarian option alongside the usual smoked plates, all ordered at the window looking out over the bay.
