Buona Forchetta - Encinitas

Owner Matteo Cattaneo brought his South Park pizzeria north to Coast Highway 101 in 2018, opening this third location with the same gilded wood-fired oven that turns out the group's Neapolitan-style pies. The kitchen also runs a full line of Northern Italian pastas and heartier entrees, served in a family-friendly room with an indoor dining area, a patio and a small private event space. San Diego Magazine has since named its pizza a Best Pizza critic's pick.
