Mitch’s Seafood

Point Loma's sportfishing docks are home to this order-at-the-window seafood shack, opened by three local fishing families in 2008 and still run without reservations -- order at the counter, take a number, and find a seat on the patio over the boat slips. The chalkboard menu runs from clam chowder to whole lobster plates, by way of grilled swordfish sandwiches, beer-battered cod and octopus tacos. Seagulls patrol the patio tables looking for scraps.
