Blue Wave Bar & Grill

This Shelter Island dining room sits inside the Best Western Island Palms hotel, its interior redone with Polynesian-carved wood and floor-to-ceiling windows over the marina since the hotel building went up in 1958. Executive Chef Andrew Mroz's menu runs to tropically inspired small plates and mains, served on a patio that looks over the pool and the boat slips. Breakfast, lunch and dinner run daily, and a separate room off the main dining area can be booked for larger groups.
