The Cliffs Café

A family bought this Sunset Cliffs Boulevard cafe in November, and Mayra -- its cook of twelve years -- took over as owner. There's no reservation list. Orders go in at the counter, with food coming out to a small dining room and patio near the cliffs, and acai bowls and espresso drinks are the draw, including a Funky Monkey frappuccino built from banana, espresso, peanut butter and dark chocolate.
