Pizza Nova

Owner Charlie Muirhead has run this Point Loma pizzeria for more than two decades, one of three Pizza Nova locations alongside Solana Beach and San Marcos. The dining room faces a working marina, with a second-floor view deck reserved for private parties on weekdays and open to walk-in diners on weekends. Wood-fired pizzas come out of an oven near the entrance, including a house pizza topped with smoked Norwegian salmon and three cheeses, alongside a slow-roasted lamb shank, and garlic rolls arrive hot at the start of the meal.
