This Mission Beach original started as a small coffee house in 1995. The kitchen runs Chino-Latino leaning plates: papas con chorizo, tamales in green chile sauce, blueberry cornmeal pancakes the size of the plate, alongside a full coffee bar. There's no reservation system; it's first-come-first-served, with waits that can run 15 to 40 minutes.
