"Twisted farm food" is the phrase this Hillcrest brunch spot has used since Andy Beardslee and Johnny Rivera opened it in 2000, and the sage fried chicken has been on the menu that whole time. Pancakes come out the size of a steering wheel and stuffed burgers carry two beef patties, portions large enough that regulars often can't finish them. Nothing about the plain Fifth Avenue facade hints at the crowded weekend brunch lines inside.
