South Beach Bar & Grille

At the end of Newport Avenue in Ocean Beach, this bar and grill has served its Mahi fish taco since opening in 1992. A remodel added upstairs dining with a surfside view over the water, and the bar carries 22 tequilas alongside more than 40 beers, several from local breweries. Lobster, wahoo, shark and shrimp plates round out the kitchen beyond the tacos.
