Cafe Sevilla of San Diego

Three floors in the Gaslamp hold Cafe Sevilla: a street-level tapas bar, a mezzanine dining room, and a downstairs nightclub, all under flags hung from a 20-foot ceiling and a bull mounted behind the bar. More than 40 hot and cold tapas and 15 Spanish entrées come out of the kitchen, seafood paella and a roasted pork tenderloin in red wine honey sauce among them, while a small stage keeps flamenco, rumba and Spanish guitar going most nights. Friday and Saturday turn into full dinner shows, a Classical Flamenco night and a Gypsy Fusion evening, each a three-course meal paired with the nightclub cover, and Sunday brings a brunch with a Spanish twist.
