Since 1973, the Brunetto family has run this restaurant and Italian deli on India Street, the third location for a business Stefano Brunetto opened downtown in 1956 and once used to supply the local tuna fleet with imported goods. The deli case runs to house-made sausage, imported meats and cheeses, and fresh pasta, while the attached dining room serves lasagna layered with ricotta, mozzarella, and pecorino. NBA center Wilt Chamberlain reportedly had to duck to clear the doorway on a visit.
