Down a flight of stairs below Orange Ave, a block off the Hotel del, Tavern keeps a weathered wood cupboard piece by the entrance and a run of open-air window along the back wall that looks out on the sidewalk crowd. Votive candles line the stairway and every table, each one set with a fresh flower. The kitchen leans on local, seasonal ingredients for lunch and dinner, with cocktails and craft beer at a happy hour that runs three to five every day.
