At the corner of 30th and Upas, this North Park taproom carries the Modern Times name -- launched in 2013 and inspired by a 19th-century utopian community. Twenty taps rotate through core beers, pilot batches and one-off experiments, backed by crowler fills and bags of the brewery's own coffee. Vinyl records fill a shop built along the south wall, extending the mid-century retro theme, and the patio allows dogs while children under 13 can come in with a parent.
