Grown from a five-acre 'Gardens on Parade' exhibit built for the 1939 World's Fair, this 39-acre garden in Flushing now includes a Fragrance Walk, a wetland and woodland garden, and a compost demonstration site run alongside the working QBG Farm. Hours run Tuesday through Sunday year-round, and admission is free each winter from mid-December through March.
