Tarallucci e Vino @ Cooper Hewitt Museum

A cafe inside the Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum, run by Tarallucci e Vino, sits beside the Arthur Ross Terrace and Garden that Hood Design Studio redesigned with Raft Landscape Architects and Diller Scofidio + Renfro in 2015, complete with cherry trees, rhododendrons and a reworked rock garden. Neither the cafe nor the garden requires a museum ticket, so it works as a stop on its own. The kitchen keeps to pastries, espresso, salads, soups and panini, plus wine by the glass, with seating spread between the indoor cafe and the terrace outside.
