Nancy Whiskey Pub

Opened in 1967, years before the surrounding blocks were named Tribeca, this pub has kept going under owner Bill Wall, who bought the bar in 1985 after working there since 1972. A padded shuffleboard machine original to the opening still sits in back, reportedly the only one of its kind left in the city. The room has stayed largely untouched inside, right down to the graffiti in the bathroom, and drinks run cheap for the neighborhood. It stayed open through 9/11 and Hurricane Sandy, closing only briefly during COVID, and the kitchen serves burgers until 3am.
