Pearl Box

Two flights of red-carpeted stairs above the restaurant Heroes lead to Pearl Box, a wood-paneled SoHo cocktail room with velvet loveseats and wall-to-wall mirrors along the way up. Nearly every table orders the caviar service, a specialty of an owner who also runs her own caviar line and co-owns Tokyo Record Bar. The drink list runs to martinis and cherry americanos, and dessert is a candy bowl of gummy candy served in a lidded dish for photos. Walk-ins are welcome, though reservations through Resy are recommended on busy nights.
