The Mulberry Bar

Phil Meynell, Leo Jacob and Justin Sievers built this subterranean cocktail bar behind an unmarked door on Mulberry Street, with a checkerboard floor and murals by Emelie Törling lit low enough to blur the room. A resident cast of DJs called the Muses plays music built for singing along, and the kitchen sends out caviar, oysters and tartare alongside cocktails like a Vesper and an Oaxaca old fashioned. Reservations through Resy guarantee a table after 9pm; without one, the doorperson decides who gets in between 8 and 9, and the room stays open until 2am.
