Chef Jay Kumar and Daria Greene, the team behind Lore around the corner, opened this cocktail-and-wine bar on Sixth Avenue in December 2025, in the space that had been Brooklyn Pub. Where Lore names its drinks after famous figures, Folk's list carries the names of neighborhood regulars instead. The kitchen serves Indian flatbreads and pot pies drawn from Kumar's years cooking in the UK, alongside modern American dishes built from local produce.
