Buttermilk Bar

A black, nondescript exterior on Fifth Avenue gives no hint of what's inside this South Slope bar, and the room keeps things spare: board games behind the counter, a jukebox for the soundtrack, and little else in the way of decor. Beer and well drinks run cheap, especially during the happy hour that runs until nine each evening, and the bar stays open until 4am every night.
