A woman said to have carried water to soldiers at the Battle of Monmouth in 1778, then taken over her husband's post on the battlefield when he could no longer fight, lends her nickname to this Hell's Kitchen cocktail lounge. Jacob Rotundo and beverage director Christopher Lockwood, the team behind neighboring Lilly's Craft and Kitchen, acquired the 9th Avenue space in 2019 and built a 1920s-style room around her story. Cocktails on the list carry names lifted straight from the war: the Battle of Monmouth, Valley Forge, Captain Molly, Margaret Corbin. Doors close Mondays, and stay open past 1am from Friday through Sunday.
